Assembler

Assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products, following blueprints and routings to required specifications. Perform quality control, maintain equipment, and keep work area clean. Opportunity to advance to Advanced Assembler #1 classification.

Requirements

• Possess the skill and ability to assemble manufactured and purchased parts
• Operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses and power tools
• Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, sitting and bending, as well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports
• Sufficient visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly
