The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the proper location and maintaining correct records of all items in the warehouse, staging, or designated storage areas. They will also operate a forklift or other material handling equipment and furnish own hand tools.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, routing sheets, and have the ability to satisfactorily use calipers, gages, measuring devices, figure gross, net, and legal weights, and convert to cubic measurements, to operate hand-held and stationary computer terminals, and perform SPC as required.
- Ability to perform work for a minimum of ten hours.
- Ability to walk, hear, see, and have full use of both hands.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
- Able to have organizational skills, regarding the setup of different layouts of the warehouse.
- Able to stay on task to complete and meet Warehouse Manager's expectations.
- Possesses patience and can perform bin audits as required.
- Can problem solve if there are any problems locating material.
- Able to communicate issues when they arise to ensure a timely solution.
