Maintenance Crafts

Maintenance mechanics shall build, install and maintain buildings, machinery and equipment, except for dies and fixtures. They must diagnose, correct, repair, and/or replace necessary parts. Must supply own hand tools, fabricate guards and chutes, and perform electrical, plumbing, and machining tasks.

Requirements

• Must supply own hand tools
• Must be able to fabricate guards, chutes, (sheet metal)
• Understands, interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Efficient in ARC, MIG, and TIG welding
• Able to perform general plumbing (air and oil lines)
• General machining (lathe, mill, etc) a plus
• General rigging
• General working knowledge to read and understand software programs a plus
• Read and understand calipers and micrometers
• Able to work at extended heights
