Job Description
The Senior Applications Engineer promotes and applies products, controls, and systems in heavy industrial sectors. Responsibilities include ensuring correct equipment is specified, quoted, installed, commissioned, and supported. This requires clear communication and timely coordination with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales personnel.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or 5 years related engineering experience.
- Able to read/interpret schematics and mechanical drawings
- 5 years of experience applying, troubleshooting, or repairing control systems & motor control circuits.
- Experience with DC and / or AC motor controls.
- Manufacturing experience desired.
- Proficient knowledge of industrial systems.
- Ability to prioritize incoming work from several sources and follow through to results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Office Suite, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD®
