Sourcing Specialist (Connectors) - Leeds, AL

Our Connectors location in Leeds, AL is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to grow with us as we grow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials, with 3+ years of experience in a materials role involving sourcing activities for a manufacturing operation.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree preferred but not required
• 3+ years of experience in a materials role involving sourcing activities for a manufacturing operation
• Strong ERP systems experience; SAP big plus
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings would be a plus but not required
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Familiarity with Quality systems, processes, and requirements
• Demonstrated negotiation experience
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Preferred: Understanding of or experience working with interpersonal logistics, Understanding of commodity markets, PMP or other project management certification
