Job Description
We are a 100% Employee-Owned Company looking for a Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment, as well as food service equipment. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will work with a variety of equipment and provide fast, friendly service to our customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical school program in refrigeration or HVAC is preferred
- Certification as a Refrigeration Technician or HVAC Technician is advantageous
- Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role, with experience in maintaining and repairing food service equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, food service equipment, components, and principles
- Familiarity with refrigerants and their safe handling and disposal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls as needed
