Editorial Internship, Public Affairs Department

Hudson Institute is seeking interns to gain editorial skills, research, and administrative support to the Public Affairs team. The Public Affairs department focuses on promoting Hudson experts and their work, putting on successful public events, and leveraging new media to amplify our impact in DC and across the globe.

Requirements

• Ability to draft error-free copy in a timely manner
• Strong copyediting skills and a high level of attention to detail
• High level of technological competency and ability to work seamlessly between various word processors
• Experience working within a style guide (Chicago preferred)
• Desire to gain editorial experience and improve reading and writing skills
• Desire to gain website backend experience and basic search engine optimization
• Working knowledge of politics and international relations
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
