Job Description
Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Senior Product Control Accountant to join their Product Control team. The role involves supporting various functions such as trading P&L reconciliation, financial product research, new trading onboarding, P&L attribution, and analysis.
Requirements
- Perform daily T+1 trading P&L reconciliations
- Prepare trading P&L attribution for traders
- Work with Middle Office group and external brokers to reconcile daily position and cash breaks
- Perform month-end closing procedures
- Assist with onboarding new trading into existing technology and platforms
- Perform necessary accounting research
- Collaborate with other accounting functions to support overall business needs
- Work with tax department to provide trading P&L analysis
- Collaborate with Treasury group to maintain efficient margin and FX exposure
- Assist in the creation and design of automated reports
- Test and utilize automated tools for reconciliation and profit reports
