Job Description
Humane World for Animals seeks an Animal Care Manager - Wildlife to manage the wildlife department at Black Beauty Ranch in Murchison, Texas, providing care to animals and overseeing staff, grounds, and equipment.
Requirements
- Provides care to animals within the Wildlife department
- Prepares and distributes feed for animals
- Inspects and upkeeps enclosures and habitats
- Cleans, organizes, and maintains grounds, enclosures, office areas, food supplies, medical supplies, laundry, and other equipment
- Oversees staff, interns, and volunteers in assigned department
- Represents the ranch in engagement with the public
- Assists with chemical capture and animal movements and release
- Maintains logs and documentation for animal safety, staff safety, enclosures, and equipment
