Job Description
TELUS Health is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Engineering team in Berlin, responsible for designing, building, and evolving backend systems that power their digital health platform.
Requirements
- Strong experience in backend development with Java (minimum ~3+ years)
- Solid experience with AWS or Google Cloud and cloud-based architectures
- Proficiency with Spring Boot and modern backend frameworks
- Experience with Git and DevOps practices (CI/CD, build & run ownership)
- Understanding of scalable systems and distributed architectures
- Experience working in Agile environments
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Openness to learning, sharing knowledge, and contributing to team growth
- Strong communication skills in English
