Job Description
Humber River Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in their Alternative Level of Care (ALC) facility at the Church Reactivation Care Centre. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, safe care to patients and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Current BCLS or demonstrated competency
- 2 years of recent acute medicine and senior’s care experience
- Critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Excellent physical assessment skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, solve problems, and resolve conflicts
- Proven experience promoting family centered care with patient/family teaching skills
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team, patients, family members, and visitors
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills with an ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of community resources
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record
- An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices

- Hourly Rate Range: $40.24 - $57.68
- Schedule Requirements: 8 and 12 hour rotating shifts, days, nights, evenings and week-ends
