Job Description
Performs routine technical duties and assists with other duties involved in providing care to the long-term care patient. Participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care with the objectives, standards and policies of the long term care facility and within the parameters of his or her scope of practice and preparation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of accredited program for licensed practical nursing
- Valid Nevada LPN license
- BCLS (CPR) certification
- Certification in geriatric/gerontological nursing or 10 CEU's per year accepted by the Nevada State Board of Nursing
