Hume AI is seeking a talented Senior Core Services Engineer to contribute to their mission of using emotion understanding to build empathy and goal-alignment into AI. The role involves developing and maintaining AI-powered solutions, with a focus on backend services, data pipelines, and expressive AI models. They are looking for someone who can work on a variety of projects and collaborate with a skilled engineering team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developing backend services.
- Expertise working with storage and compute on a cloud platform (e.g.Google Cloud, AWS).
- Deep understanding of modern deployment strategies utilizing cloud technologies.
- Experience using service deployment tooling (e.g.Kubernetes, Docker, Argo).
- Experience in Kotlin/Spring, Typescript/Express, Python/FastAPI, or Rust.
- Experience with building and maintaining highly available SaaS products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
