Job Description
Hume City Council is seeking tertiary students for a maternal and child health placement. The placement provides practical work experience observing and performing tasks under supervision, including participating in the Universal and Enhanced Maternal Child Health Service. Students will contribute to promoting health, well-being, and learning outcomes for children. The placement is unpaid and conditional on being accepted into a Maternal & Child Health qualification program.
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
- 5 years postgraduate experience in Nursing and midwifery
- Current Working with Children Check
- Enrollment in approved Maternal & Child Health program of study
- Signed Student Placement Agreement
