Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sanitary systems, and equipment. Respond to service calls and complete COM work and other property maintenance requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Vocational or Technical Training Preferred
- 1-3 years of experience Required
- Basic familiarity with computers
- Read and write in English to understand basic instructions and take direction from supervisors
- Understand spoken English to follow basic instructions and take direction from supervisors
- Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work and work to deadlines using sound judgement
- Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments
- Proficiency with basic hand tools like hammers, screwdrivers, hand saws, pliers, wrenches, and tape measures
- Proficiency with trade-specific hand tools like multi-meter, tube cutter, torch, level, and HVAC gauges
- Proficiency with small power tools like drills, Sawz-All, sanders, and power saws
