Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician II provides general and specialized maintenance to rental housing, performs skilled work in one or more trades, and assists in the make ready of vacated units. This position requires strong knowledge of Building Maintenance and specialized knowledge in one or more of the following trades/skills: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, or locksmith.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) with advanced training resulting in a certification
• 4-6 years experience in residential maintenance
• Strong knowledge of Building Maintenance and specialized knowledge in one or more of the following trades/skills: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, or locksmith
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, as well as to lift weights of up to 50 pounds regularly and above 50 pounds occasionally
