Automation Maintenance Technician III

The Automation Maintenance Technician III performs advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance to molding/production machines and related equipment. Requirements

• Machine start-up, setup and changeovers
• Resupplying equipment with wire spool, grease, silicone, labels and tapes
• Moving machines and installing redesigned parts and systems to molding and assembly machines
• Working with Production team members to ensure they are satisfied with equipment maintenance performed
• Documenting equipment repairs and maintenance performed
• Submitting suggestions for electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic performance-improving modifications
• Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC program modification or upgrade
• Training other technicians in all areas of equipment repair and maintenance
• Generating and implementing equipment maintenance procedures
• Evaluating needs and generating part requisitions
• Performing weld repair on equipment outside of designated shop area
