The Automation Maintenance Technician III performs advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance to molding/production machines and related equipment. Requirements
- Machine start-up, setup and changeovers
- Resupplying equipment with wire spool, grease, silicone, labels and tapes
- Moving machines and installing redesigned parts and systems to molding and assembly machines
- Working with Production team members to ensure they are satisfied with equipment maintenance performed
- Documenting equipment repairs and maintenance performed
- Submitting suggestions for electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic performance-improving modifications
- Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC program modification or upgrade
- Training other technicians in all areas of equipment repair and maintenance
- Generating and implementing equipment maintenance procedures
- Evaluating needs and generating part requisitions
- Performing weld repair on equipment outside of designated shop area
