Job Description
We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Senior Mining Engineer to join our high performing team. As a leader, you will be responsible for driving safe and efficient mining practices and developing comprehensive mine designs, schedules, and plans. You will provide leadership to a team of engineers and provide technical support within the Technical Services team.
Requirements
- Formal qualifications in Mining Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mining operations, with a focus on mine design, scheduling, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in mine planning software (Vulcan, Deswik) and scheduling tools (SPRY, Deswik).
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to assess opportunities and risks, and the ability to develop actionable insights.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
