We are seeking an Engineer to join the Ao team in the SSNX program. The Engineer will work collaboratively with other key stakeholders to incorporate Ao design principles and lead research and development studies to influence the future of US Navy submarines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 9 years of relevant exempt experience
- Master's Degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience
- Ph.D. and 4 years of experience
- Extensive knowledge of US Navy submarine systems, requirements, system integration, arrangement best practices, and submarine unique considerations
- Knowledge and experience with multiple submarine platforms and other navy platforms for contrast
- Project management experience and/or PMP certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in groups
- Above average skills with Excel and data analysis
- Experience with SAP material management records
- NAVY 3-M OARS experience
- Corrective and preventative maintenance experience
- Experience in increasing equipment/component lifecycle and reliability
