ENGINEER STRUCTURAL 3

Analyze, research, and develop structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic, or composite materials for product design and operation. Provide technical leadership and direction to internal and external customers on structural-related matters. Perform design reviews, prepare impact studies, and respond to emergent safety issues in a large industrial facility setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 5 years of relevant exempt experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the structural disciplines
• Civil Engineering Degree
• Experience in steel, concrete, prestressed concrete, and wood design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build strong working relationships and rapport with NNS production, engineering, safety, maintenance, and contractor personnel
