Job Description
The Role: This position is for an experienced HVAC engineer with strong organizational, technical writing, and project management skills. The candidate should have experience leading small teams in the execution of complex projects with defined technical, cost, and schedule restraints. Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 5 years of relevant exempt experience
- Experience leading small teams in the execution of complex projects with defined technical, cost, and schedule restraints
- Experience with ship construction and manufacturing processes
- Experience creating/reviewing shock extensions and coordinating with suppliers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
