Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide high-quality financial planning & analysis support to assigned Functional teams, acting as a trusted business partner to help leaders understand financial performance, drive effective decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Provide high-quality financial planning & analysis support to assigned Functional teams
- Partner with functional teams to gather, validate, and align financial data with business goals
- Monitor actual spend and update forecasts to anticipate future financial needs
- Analyze trends and variances across sub-functions to identify cost drivers, efficiency opportunities, and areas needing attention
- Build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports detailing spend, forecasts, and budget variances by cost category
- Lead annual budget and monthly forecast cycles, ensuring timely and accurate inputs from cross-functional teams
- Ensure financial reports are clear, accurate, and aligned with internal standards and corporate policies
- Identify and resolve gaps in financial systems and processes to ensure smooth operations
- Continuously improve and document financial workflows, data flows, and forecasting tools
- Act as a data and systems steward, collaborating with IT and Finance on data refreshes, access controls, and automation efforts
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and cost allocation principles
- Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations and documentation that demonstrate control and integrity
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives that enhance forecasting and reporting capabilities
