Job Description
Temporary Grounds Maintenance Worker position performing maintenance of park grounds, including grounds maintenance, trash emptying, and litter picking. Work involves varied hours, all weather conditions, and ability to traverse uneven terrain.
Requirements
- Ability to operate push mower, weed whip and Cushman cart
- Ability to load, unload and move materials between work locations
- Ability to traverse sandy, marshy or wooded areas with even or uneven terrain
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work varied hours depending upon park demands
- Ability to get along with co-workers, supervisors and park visitors
- Ability to perform essential functions
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
Benefits
- Paid hourly rate of $13.75 per hour
- Up to a $5.75 per hour retention bonus for all hours worked from Memorial Day through Labor Day
- Up to a $0.60 per hour seasonal bonus for all hours worked
