Job Description
The Journeyman Chassis Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing the chassis at a port or terminal. Essential duties include inspecting chassis regularly, repairing and replacing components, performing preventive maintenance, and diagnosing mechanical issues.
Requirements
- Two years of related schooling or seven years of applicable experience
- Experience maintaining Magnum and Busby bombcart chassis
- WABO Welder Certified preferred
- Current EPA cards and field related tools
- TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
- Valid US Driver’s License
