Job Description
Leading strategic R&D projects to develop innovative material and thermal solutions for electric mobility battery systems.
Requirements
- Lead strategic projects related to thermal management in the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors
- Coordinate actions between Business Development teams and R&D teams for product development projects
- Ensure technical follow-up, risk management, and quality, cost, and deadline objectives
- Identify, characterize, and select suitable materials: thermally conductive/isolating materials, thermal barriers, flame retardants, etc.
- Design thermal management and overheating prevention solutions for electric vehicle batteries in direct response to OEM needs and RFQ
- Define and deploy fire and thermal testing protocols conforming to OEM requirements
- Ensure ongoing technological and scientific surveillance to maintain a high level of expertise in thermal management and battery safety
- R&D project management, battery, thermal, mobility, or advanced materials experience
