Job Description
Under the direction of a physician, provides clinical patient care in a specialty area, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and x-rays, making preliminary diagnoses, and treating minor injuries.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician's Assistants
- CPR certification
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
