Job Description
The General Merchandise Clerk provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service, rotates, faces, and replenishes merchandise, and reviews department status for cleanliness, product quality and quantity.
Requirements
- No education requirement
- Over six months to a year of related work experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to file, post, and mail materials
- Ability to guide people and provide basic direction
