The Assistant Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the hotel's general ledger operations, supporting the hotel Director of Finance, and efficiently running the Finance department in line with Hyatt Corporate standards.
Requirements
- Prepare and review all journal vouchers, month-end reports and reconciliations
- Review preliminary financial statements with Director of Finance
- Participate in monthly financial reviews and assist Director of Finance with the presentation of these reports
- Assist Director of Finance with supervising Finance team functions of the hotel
- Manage and help oversee hotel on-site Finance functions
- Systems administration, G/L account reconciliations, budget preparations, inventories, monthly closings and full P&L responsibility
- Assist with managing and ensuring SOX compliance
- Assist Director of Finance with completing the year-end audit process
- Help prepare all monthly and annual financial statements
- Motivate team members and resolve and issues that occur on the job
- Assist the human resource officer in the recruitment process with hiring and training new hires
