The Event Planning Manager is responsible for servicing Sale bookings and acting as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff. The position involves planning, organizing, and managing events, as well as collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to understand event goals, budgets, and expectations.
Requirements
- Plan, organize, and manage events such as conferences, meetings, weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings
- Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to understand event goals, budgets, and expectations
- Source, negotiate, and manage vendors (venues, catering, entertainment, décor, etc.)
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency
- Lead and coordinate event staff and volunteers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permits, and insurance requirements
- Handle unexpected issues and provide quick, effective solutions during events
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Assisting in creating an exceptional experience for guests and colleagues
