Job Description
Hyatt Regency Portland is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team. The role involves equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency response, and documentation, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, experience in a similar role, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Equipment Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshooting: Quickly identifying and resolving any technical issues or malfunctions
- Emergency Response: Responding promptly to emergencies such as equipment failures, power outages, or safety hazards
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any incidents or repairs
- Communication: Collaborating closely with other members of the engineering team, staff, and management
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety
- Adherence to Safety Regulations: Strictly adhering to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations
- Room Requests: Responding to maintenance requests in the guestrooms in a timely and efficient manner
