The Sustainability Coordinator will lead the strategy in sustainability, integrating environmental, social, and cultural practices aligned with corporate standards and the brand’s philosophy, promoting responsible experiences for guests and the community.
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resource Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in environmental management, corporate sustainability, or related projects.
- Knowledge of local and corporate environmental regulations.
- Experience with environmental permits and liaising with authorities.
- Ability to manage environmental indicators (energy, water, waste, carbon footprint).
- Experience with environmental audits and certifications (Preferred by Nature, EarthCheck, LEED, ISO 14001, Profepa, etc.).
- Ability to prepare ESG reports and performance metrics.
- Skills in designing and implementing sustainability plans.
- Oversight of recycling, waste management, and energy efficiency programs.
- Experience developing wildlife management programs.
- Ability to train staff and lead environmental awareness campaigns.
- Experience managing supplier relationships to encourage responsible practices.
- Capacity to propose sustainable innovation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication skills to promote the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and social/environmental awareness.
