Senior Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for contributing to cloud products and system design, working with engineering teams to solve complex problems, lead innovative projects, and evangelize cloud engineering excellence across the organization.

What You Will Do

Write code to solve complex problems, design and drive the implementation of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to cloud environments, and identify and participate in new cloud technology research, proof of concepts (POCs), and innovation efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or a related technical engineering field
• Demonstrated experience in at least one cloud-related engineering field
• Experience building and delivering enterprise applications, supporting cloud software in production used by customers, and working with one or more public cloud providers
• Experience implementing and working with CI/CD pipelines and related systems, with experience in infrastructure as code deployments and demonstrated knowledge of cloud-native design principles
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience building systems that meet stringent quality, security, and compliance standards
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with executive presence, strong collaboration and critical thinking skills
