Senior Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Cloud Engineer is a technical leader responsible for designing, building, and evolving secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud platforms across a multi-cloud environment.

What You Will Do

Design, implement, and evolve cloud infrastructure, lead the development and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code, and partner with architects and senior stakeholders to define secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud or platform engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with production scale experience
• Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
• Strong automation and scripting skills (Python strongly preferred)
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity, security, and cloud native services
• Experience working in global, cross functional engineering environments
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and make architectural decisions
• Technically curious, self driven, and committed to continuous improvement
• Strong problem solving and analytical mindset, especially for complex cloud systems
• Comfortable operating with high ownership and autonomy
• Able to influence technical direction and mentor others through collaboration and clear communication
• Customer focused mindset with the ability to balance engineering excellence and business outcomes
