Legal Counsel (Payment)

We are hiring a Legal Counsel for one of our ecosystem projects. The Legal Counsel will develop and implement legal & compliance policies and procedures, and provide guidance to the company's employees on compliance matters.

Requirements

• Law degree holder (LLB/J.D.) qualified, and/or other major common law jurisdictions
• Qualified lawyer with 3-5 years PQE in a reputable international law firm or a top local law firm
• Experience in advising on products and related legal and regulatory matters
• Strong understanding of payments regulation, fund flows, and licensing frameworks
• Experienced in payment, fintech, EMI/PSP, or financial services compliance or regulatory advisory
• Sound judgment on business practices, internal and external stakeholder relationship management and reputational risk
• Business proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Experience in multi-jurisdiction environments
