The Senior Analyst - Parts Logistics position will be responsible for supporting, planning, organizing, evaluating, and reporting all activities associated with the Parts Distribution business.
Requirements
- Oversee Parts Distribution Daily Operations
- Directly investigating and troubleshooting daily operational issues
- Maintain consistent daily communication with carriers and customers to ensure seamless resolution
- Fulfill customer requests for KPI reporting
- Assist with development of KPI's to measure the effectiveness of the carriers/service providers
- Maintain open dialogue with other departments to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
- Prepare analysis, projections, and forecasts as they relate to Parts Distribution
- Assist with all business activities with EDI and manual invoicing
- Reporting & Analytics
- Assist in financial and operational due diligence, when applicable, by collecting and analyzing financial and operational data
- Collect historical data, and research/consider trends (from an internet source or target company's internal systems) to develop a reasonable forecast
- Prepare project status reports, profitability reports, executive summaries and presentations as needed
- Prepare and distribute daily and weekly KPI reports: on-time, claims and exceptions
- Formulate project reports as requested by Finance and/or Operations departments
- Develop recommendations and prepare necessary approval documents for management in Operations and Finance
- Support annual business plan preparation
- Participate software development and/or system improvements as related to parts distribution
