The Supervisor - Parts Logistics position will be responsible for supporting, planning, organizing, evaluating, and reporting all activities associated to Parts Distribution business.
Requirements
- Assist with departmental projects such as system development and project implementation
- Prepare project status reports, profitability reports, executive summaries and presentation
- Develop recommendations and prepare necessary approval documents for management
- Provide customer with KPI reporting as requested
- Prepare and distribute daily and weekly KPIs reports
- Assist, develop, issue, maintain, and analyze RFQ responses from carriers/service providers
- Participate software development and/or system improvements as related to parts distribution
- Maintain open dialogue with other department to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
- Support and review daily operations, performance reports, and take appropriate action to resolve
- Assist in financial and operational due diligence, when applicable
- Prepare analysis, projections, forecasts as they relate to Parts Distribution
- Collect historical data, and research/consider trends
- Monitor daily operations as related to Parts Distribution
- Monitor, report, and resolve daily billing activities and prepare monthly forecast and accruals
- Monitor collections and payments (AR/AP)
- Formulate project reports as requested by Finance and/or Operations departments
- Assist with all business activities with EDI and manual invoicing
- Prepare month end updates, invoices, and monthly accruals
- Effectively communicate with Management on business, current statuses, issues, and resolutions
