The VPC Inspector will be responsible for the daily inspection and/or processing functions within the VPC Department in order to insure a quality vehicle is being shipped to the end customer on behalf of Glovis.
Requirements
- Inspect new vehicle exterior features for defects and/or damages
- Inspectors will operate IQS tablet (Samsung Tablet) and input defects found on vehicles
- Inspectors will inspect new vehicle exterior features in search for defects and/or damages
- Inspector will need to be attentive to details
- Inspector will communicate found defects
- Inspect vehicle according to company guidelines and procedures
- Inspection vehicles according to the SWIS and Inspection Audit Form
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and fellow peers
- Must willfully perform other tasks as instructed by leadership
- Fulfill various other roles such as driving, battery testing, tire pressure, and/or throw-in (i.e. floor mats, cargo nets, cargo trays, and owner’s manual ) within the VPC department other than inspection
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- May have to work in other departments to help maintain daily production goals
