The Day Warehouse Associate is a highly physical role responsible for offloading trucks, confirming product receipt, and accurately recording and storing inbound products in the warehouse.
Requirements
- Prepare the receiving dock for incoming orders and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise; track and monitor all inbound product for that day.
- Handle all products with care to avoid damages and loss.
- Compare packing list to the product received, all numbers should match. If not, note this on the packing list and inform the Operations Supervisor or the VP of Operations.
- Fill out pre and post trip sheets for fork lifts and pallet jacks.
- Communicate daily with department representatives regarding inventory and incoming shipments.
- Maintain an orderly flow of product moving through the warehouse, ensuring accurate and efficient movement.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
- Record any and all moves in the RF gun every time
- Take initiative to accomplish open tasks; be proactive and seek additional work when available
