Job Description
IMP Aerospace & Defence is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to perform first and second line aircraft maintenance on Cormorant helicopters supporting Canadian Search and Rescue operations. This role involves servicing, inspection, repair, and certification of aircraft systems and components, as well as support for flight testing and deployment, in a 24/7 environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a recognized aircraft maintenance course or apprenticeship program
- Current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or qualification as an aircraft aviation technician
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation maintenance
- Knowledge of aircraft systems (power plants, flight controls, etc.)
- Knowledge of corrosion control techniques
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
