Job Description
i3 is looking for a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join their team in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in rotary and/or fixed wing aircraft nondestructive inspection and Level 2 Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing, Eddy Current Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing.
Requirements
- Detect flaws using Fluorescent Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Radiographic, and Optical test equipment
- Provide guidance and training to DOD personnel in nondestructive inspection techniques
- Maintain records of training activities and trainee progress
- Give presentations to groups of 20 or more individuals
- Travel 20% CONUS and OCONUS
- Ability to organize and report the results of NDT tests
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
