Test Engineer

We’re seeking a Test Engineer to support the operation, troubleshooting, and sustainment of hardware simulators and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testbeds in both laboratory and field environments.

Requirements

• Operate hardware simulators and HIL testbeds in the lab and during field deployments;
• Perform system setup and teardown: rack integration, power-up/power-down procedures, cabling/harnessing, configuration loading, and pre-test checks;
• Monitor simulator health during runs (telemetry, logs, built-in tests); identify anomalies and take corrective action to keep events on track;
• Troubleshoot hardware and integration issues across power, I/O, networking, timing, and sensors/actuators; coordinate fixes with engineering teams;
• Calibrate and verify simulator outputs/inputs using lab instruments (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, DMM, power supplies) and documented procedures;
• Maintain configuration control: versions, wiring diagrams, asset inventory, spares, and change tracking for lab and field baselines;
• Collect, label, and validate test data; produce run notes, quick-look results, and issue summaries for after-action reviews;
• Support logistics for field events: packing, transport, site setup, environmental checks, and compliance with customer/site safety rules;
• Contribute to documentation: operator checklists, test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training materials;
