Superintendent, Mill Maintenance

IAMGOLD is a Canadian-based gold mining company seeking a Superintendent, Mill Maintenance to lead maintenance operations at the Côté Gold Mine Site in Ontario, Canada. The role involves overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability, and promoting a positive work culture. The ideal candidate has 10 years of experience in maintenance or asset management, specifically in gold milling, mineral processing, or a heavy industrial plant, and a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

Requirements

• College diploma or university degree in a relevant discipline such as fixed plant or electrical maintenance, mechanical or electrical engineering, or an equivalent program.
• Trade certificate of apprenticeship and qualification is preferred.
• Ten (10) years of related experience in maintenance or asset management, specifically in gold milling, mineral processing or a heavy industrial plant.
• A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Extensive experience with crushers, mills, conveyors, pumps, flotation, leaching, and gold recovery circuits.
• Proficiency in CMMS software (such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) for maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Experience with condition monitoring technologies, including vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management principles and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies.
