Senior Technical Engineer

The Senior Technical Engineer will lead the implementation, maintenance, and system integrations of IB’s core customer-facing applications, driving development, maintenance, enhancements, and the technical roadmap. This global role collaborates across time zones with teams and stakeholders in Singapore, The Hague, Cardiff, and Washington DC.

Requirements

• Serve as the technical owner for development, implementation, and maintenance of Professional Learning systems (e.g., Moodle).
• Lead implementation and integration efforts for core IB applications across PL, LMS, CRM, HCM, and other platforms.
• Develop and enforce standardized SaaS/PaaS implementation and maintenance practices aligned with industry standards.
• Collaborate with business leads, solution architects, and vendors to provide support on performance, configuration, security, audit, compliance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage release management, system upgrades, and patching in coordination with business stakeholders.
• Own the product and technology roadmap for IB’s learning platforms, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and budget.
• Oversee data flow, reporting, and integrations between Moodle and other IB systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to IB procurement processes.
