Head of Sales (Business Energy) responsible for leading the multi-channel B2B sales organisation and driving strategic growth across all segments. The role involves shaping new markets and growth opportunities, delivering annual revenue and margin targets, and leading senior-level negotiations to secure strategic partnerships and large-scale commercial agreements.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B energy or complex solution sales with responsibility for large revenue lines.
- Experience leading multi-channel sales organisations and delivering strong commercial results.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data, market trends and customer insight.
- Demonstrated success in senior stakeholder management and influencing at executive level.
- Excellent leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to drive transformation, embed change and deliver continuous improvement.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of the energy transition, net-zero solutions and emerging technologies.
- Confident decision-making in a fast-moving, competitive market environment.
- Minimum Criteria: Experience leading B2B sales teams in energy, utilities or a comparable complex commercial environment, Proven experience managing commercial contracts and external partners, Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to manage budgets and forecasts, Highly numerate with strong analytical capability, Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, Experience with CRM, sales performance systems and forecasting tools.
