Lead Engineer - Transmission SCADA

Lead Engineer – Transmission SCADA at SP Energy Networks, responsible for leading and developing SPT’s operational SCADA capability, ensuring robust performance, continuous improvement, and alignment with strategic business objectives across the transmission network.

Requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, including proven negotiation capability
• Extensive experience working with SCADA systems within power transmission or utility networks
• In-depth knowledge of industry-standard SCADA protocols and protocol emulation tools
• Solid operational experience within a transmission environment
• Proven ability to analyse and solve complex technical problems independently and collaboratively
• Good understanding of network data, business systems, and network management platforms
