We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to contribute to the Western Link 2 project management team and undertake the full range of project management responsibilities. As a member of the team, you will work collaboratively across NGET and SPT to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, technically compliant, and innovative product.
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of large scale construction duties and methodologies
- Project risk review, management, reduction and control
- Excellent communication skills
- Contract management with experience of NEC4 and FIDIC terms and conditions a distinct advantage
- Experience in leading project development to site delivery
- Internal Financial control, forecasting and budgeting experience preferable
- Understanding of and ability to implement quality assurance processes
- Thorough understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation applicable to construction projects and particularly CDM Regs. 2015
- Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, plant apparatus and control / protection equipment on transmission networks a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of construction and development works within a marine environment a distinct advantage
- Experience in supporting stakeholder and community management activities
- Proven ability to lead and work in a team environment
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Minimum Criteria: Relevant / Transferable Engineering experience (advantageous), Project Delivery exposure / understanding (essential), Capable of managing multiple interfaces within a project, Experience of design development and delivery of projects.
