Job Description
Wind Turbine Technician opening for Power company, responsible for onsite operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment on wind powered generation plant. Base salary dependent on experience and location, with sign-on bonus of $5000.
Requirements
- Operate and maintain wind turbine equipment
- Read schematics and troubleshoot complicated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
- Perform mechanical and electrical component repair or replacement
- Comply with all project environmental health and safety programs
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Adhere to effective internal controls
- Perform data collection and prepare reports
- Perform various retrofits and design modifications
- Perform QA/QC functions
- Willing to work overtime and travel to other sites on short notice
