Estimator

We are seeking a proficient Construction Estimator to join our team, responsible for preparing accurate cost projections for construction projects and working closely with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractors' costs.
• Analyze blueprints, plans, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Assess the cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs related to bids as the project develops.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Present prepared estimates for use by management in planning and organizing project budgets.
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, and use software to calculate estimates and evaluate a project’s financial feasibility
