Job Description
The Instructional Aide assists with clerical work and classroom activities, provides individual attention to students in need of extra assistance, leads small group instruction, and monitors students during independent work time. The role is responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment, reinforcing classroom rules and directions, and providing a responsible adult presence during school-wide events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of college (minimum 48 units of core college credit), or Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, or passage of the California Basics Education Skills Test (CBEST)
- Demonstrated excellence in writing, editing, and verbal communication
- Strong leadership, team management, and project execution skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Proficient use of Google-based applications
- Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
- Background check clearance
