We are seeking an Electrical Engineer – Relay Settings to join our innovative team and help shape the future of electric utility solutions through advanced protection and control engineering.
Requirements
- Develop relay settings and protection philosophies for distribution equipment including transformers, bus, cb control, distribution feeders, etc.
- Review protection and control design packages
- Provide remote field support to the relay test engineers during installation of settings
- Model electrical systems in power simulation programs like CAPE, ASPEN & CYME
- Create thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations
- Continuous improvement of job-related engineering, technical and professional knowledge, skills, and performance
- Mentoring and training less experienced engineers in power engineering theories and principles
